The Hivemind's Vessel

Something I did as a small weekend project. I want to complete one project to a random keyword or theme for at least 3 weeks from now on.
For this one I asked a friend of mine to throw a random scifi-sounding word at me. Did not expect something like "Mind-Titan" but I tried working with it.
In the end I settled with a creature, connected to a hivemind, acting as one of many vessels for information. Basically a fleshy hard-drive.

Final rendering was done in Arnold and compositing in Photoshop.
